Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your hike for a full refund no later than 10 days in advance of your booking. Within 10 days of your booking all sales are final. You may request to reschedule your hike to a different date up until 24 hours before your hike. To do so, please email: thelosangeleshikingcompany@gmail.com. In the event that The Los Angeles Hiking Company needs to cancel a hike due to weather or for any other reason, we will reschedule you on a different date. If rescheduling is not possible, we will happily issue you a refund.

Weather Policy

While the weather in L.A. is usually nice, it's not always beautiful and sunny (like how it's portrayed in movies and on TV). We keep our fingers crossed for the best weather possible, but can't guarantee a perfectly sunny California day. Hikes are not cancelled on account of clouds -- they are only cancelled in the event of rain or other weather deemed unsafe by The Los Angeles Hiking Company. 

Should your tour be cancelled, we will do our best to reschedule you on another hike (pending availability). If rescheduling is not possible, we will happily issue you a refund.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Los Angeles Hiking Company  from any and all claims, suits or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, loss, expense (including, without limitation, all costs and attorneys’ fees), or claims of injury arising out of or in any way connected with The Los Angeles Hiking Company, including claims for loss or damage to any property, or for death or injury to any person or persons. If litigation arises pursuant to any claims made by me or by anyone else acting on my behalf and The Los Angeles Hiking Compan incurs any of these types of expenses, I agree to reimburse The Los Angeles Hiking Company.

Additional Policies

Participants must sign a waiver at the start of the tour.

Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign for them.
